Why is it that Dimmesdale cried out at the scaffold?
I think that Dimmsdale calls out at the scaffold to clean his conscious. I feel like he felt guilty that Hester and Pearl stood there alone in the past, when he felt just as guilty.

I think she would still wanna be with him.
Why is Pearl so interested in her mothers involvement with the Black Man?
I think Pearl is so interested because she is a curious child. I also think it may have something to do with Pearl being so strange as well; maybe she does have something to do with the devil like the town thinks.
Pearl is a different child who only really knows her mother, so she probably wants to know all what Hester is doing.
I think it emphasizes pearls association of being a devil child and it shows that she's interested in what she can relate with.
the irony of the minister possession of the scarlet letter is un-questionable what does this effect of his own self realization have on his views?
Will Dimmesdale actually leave with Hester and Pearl? Will he publicly claim them as his family?
I believe that he will eventually die, and the secret will die with him. He will whimp out and not say anything. But he will finally accept Pearl as his own and that will fix most of the problems between people in the family.
I feel dimmsedale is to asamed for what he did

hawthorne was probably pretty racist, I mean you gotta remember he wrote the book like 600 years ago waaaay before black lives matter was around or Obama was in office or anything
Why did Chillingsworth decide to go on the ship with Hester & Pearl?
What did Chillingsworth plan on doing when he followed Dimmesdale, Hester and Pearl on their trip?
